As children grow and develop in our program, they are both nurtured and challenged as they move towards the greater independence that Elementary School will bring.

We desire to prepare each child to be ready for kindergarten.

Our goal for the class is to be a place of learning and emotional and spiritual development in an atmosphere that is fun.

As they learn the foundational building blocks of school, we will focus on our foundation for life, God, who gave us life in Jesus Christ.

Your teacher will reach out with a monthly newsletter to keep you aware of everything related to classroom activities.

Daily Schedule

7:00-8:30 am: Full-day students go to classroom 3
‍
8:30 am: Transition to Wise Owls classroom
‍
8:30-8:45 am: Table time, puzzles at tables, and run toys available for free play
‍
8:45 - 9:00 am: Prayer and snack time
‍
9:00-9:30 am: Circle Time, morning prayer, pledges to American and Christian flags. Bible Story, Bible, Missionary of the Month, songs, Calendar, counting to 10, ABC, colors, and shapes
‍
9:30 am: Bathroom
‍
9:40-10:10 am: Art, paste, paint, stamp, and color
‍
10:15-11:00 am: Outside play. On Fridays, the Chapel is at 9:30 and outside from 10:30 - 11:05
‍
11:00-11:30 am: Indoor play: fine motor skills. Music and Movement, singing, dancing, instruments, puzzles, blocks, stacking, sorting and sensory
‍
11:30-12:30 pm: Wash hands, Prayer, and lunch. Prepare for nap
‍
12:30-2:30 pm: Nap/Rest - Bring a small blanket, take it home every week, and wash it
‍
2:30-3:00 pm: Bathroom, Prayer, and afternoon snack
‍
3:00-3:45 pm: Painting, playdough, and coloring
‍
3:45-4:30 pm: Three to five-year-olds - Outside playtime
‍
4:30-5:30 pm: Center time play - Dramatic play, books, tabletop toys, changing diapers, and washing hands
